BLK 3 Pinot Noir was planted in 2006. The wine is intended to taste of place and vintage in a transparent, unadorned fashion using minimalist viticulture and winemaking.
Only certain barrels are selected for blending in our reserve red wines. Each vintage may produce only a small amount if any, and we proudly bottle this small allotment under the reserve label.

Growing conditions in 2017 permitted further grape ripening on the vine. We picked at just the right moment, giving us a rich wine full of spicy Gewürztraminer character.
